) but it didn't last long at alllllll lol
New poll: do bikes suck y/y

I thought i was the only one who can't ride a bike. Always get the "really!?" response.
MY BRETHEREN I'm so glad I admitted my dark secret so we could find each other
I don't have a good reason though. My dad tried teaching me, I was a snotty little kid, and he decided it wasn't worth his time.
Do you guys have friends promise to teach you all the time?
yea every Gf i have ever had ppl do not know how annoying it is lol....
My parents were going through messy divorce at the time and afterwards I was too old and embarrassed to learn. 12 yo me was like learning to ride at 12 is more embarrassing than not knowing how at 23..kids man.

What swim events do you play?
I did the 50, 100 meter free and the 200 IM. What about you all?
400 IM, 200 IM, and the 200 Fly. My college coach hated me. He put me in the mile once. Never again.

yeah clearly... I've swam the 400 IM 2-5 times ever, tho never competitively, and only 2 prob were not broken into sets where I actually swam it all (rather than drill/kick parts) bleh no way. Breaststroke was my thing, love everything about it. Swam the mile a few times at my community college, didnt totally mind it but wasn't a fan.

+1 I'm a big time retired has-been but from tennis not rugby. I tried to find some other athletic purpose in life after college and so I naively turned to crossfit... probably one of my dumber choices... and I quit ~ 3 months later after injuring like 5 different body parts.

+100. My job doesn't start until 9:30 so there's usually nothing to do earlier than that.

Speaking of sports, this morning I decided to go for a run across the campus I'm visiting, and I ran past someone in admissions that I spoke to up at the school this week. I realized, as I triple checked my form and reached deep within my exhaustion to find a smile and a boost of speed, that I have achieved peak law school applicant paranoia; I literally had the thought, "maybe if they see I'm a good runner they'll be more likely to admit me."

I bike to work every day. I'm apprehensive about moving to a city where bicycling is harder because it's basically the only exercise I get.

Slept through my alarm and got up at 7:15 for a 7:30 meeting just to get yelled at by some norwegian dudes..
Is it friday yet?

I mean, it could give you an edge over some rando who didn't visit/has an unkempt beard/is bad at running or maybe doesn't even run at ALL
