Same here. Fortunately my rent and utilities are going to be pretty cheap.janderson821 wrote:The Abyss wrote:Yup, finished here. Started to put together a detailed budget for the fall last night.The_Lorax wrote:Anyone finished with the accepting loans process and whatnot?

If I'm remembering right, they're $250.

Is everyone here going to go with the University health insurance or are you trying to find coverage elsewhere. I think the University plan is around 3k for the whole year.

I believe so. We need a zone 2 permit for the adjacent lot and the garage across the street (I'm pretty sure) Also I can't seem to find where I saw this info on the prices earlier. (I found info from 2014 saying the permit cost was $444/year)The Abyss wrote:I'm assuming that's per semester.Scalvert wrote:The Abyss wrote:Anyone know how much parking permits are?

I'm staying on my parent's as long as possible. I managed to get a waiver even though I'll turn 26 during 1L.SirArthurDayne wrote:Is everyone here going to go with the University health insurance or are you trying to find coverage elsewhere. I did look at coverage elsewhere, though, and the university insurance seems to be the best bang for your buck.
ETA: Does anyone know when we'll be registered for classes and be able to see what books we need? I don't think I've seen a date for this anywhere.

I've heard we will have that info sometime in July. I can't remember if there was a specific date. I'll see if I can find it.mist4bison wrote:I'm staying on my parent's as long as possible. I'm leaving a teaching job, so I've never paid for health insurance. I'm also riding out my parents' as long as possible, but age will catch up with me sooner rather than later... sigh.mist4bison wrote:I'm staying on my parent's as long as possible. Paid the second seat deposit yesterday. Thinking about driving up to Nashville next weekend and checking the city out some more and maybe (if I can get tickets) go to one of the Vandy NCAA baseball tournament games.

Their baseball team is really good. They won the championship two years ago and came in second last year. The Abyss wrote:Paid the second seat deposit yesterday. Looks like we will all be taking contracts and civ pro in the fall. Sections A and C will also have torts, while section B takes reg state.
