I'm taking Amtrak and it was pretty cheap ($136 round trip), though there is only one train each day so you don't have a lot of options on times. Not sure how many tickets are still available.
Also taking Amtrak in from NYC. When I booked, there were a good number of trains, but the times weren't great. It came down to either taking a train down Wednesday afternoon after the NYC alumni reception or flying in Thursday morning. Amtrak was cheaper.
I'm flying in Thursday morning (6 am from Newark...

). Where's everybody staying? Just realized I need to look into a carpool...

You can Uber! Some hotels also have shuttles to the school.

I personally prefer to err on the side of overdressed - I'd much rather be the only person in a button down than the only person in shorts and flip flops. But that's just for me, if you'll be comfortable without dressing up at all, go for it. They're not going to rescind your admission.
You know people just dress normally in law school though right?

Yup, and when I'm going to classes, I'll wear whatever. But when I'm going to a reception with professors and administrators, even as a current student? You bet I'll err on the side of overdressed again.

Haha yeah, that's true. Wasn't planning on wearing a suit anyway, but a nice button down and khakis or other non-jeans? Just much more comfortable in these types of settings than sweatpants, in my personal opinion.

The dean of admissions stated the attire is casual...
I mean, casual means different things for different people *shrugs* Their clothes, their choice.

So it turns out red-eye flights are the worst thing ever. Didn't sleep a bit. So if you see a guy wandering around like a zombie today with bloodshot eyes, say hello!

Do you guys think we should bring a bag to carry any crap they might give us around in? I hate to tote things around all weekend, but do they normally hand out a lot of things at ASWs?

I'm bringing a bag to tote my own things in and whatever they give us. And you may want something to carry the readings we're supposed to do before the mock classes tomorrow. I think it's personal preference. I'm not sure how much material they'll be handing out though
