You can Uber! Some hotels also have shuttles to the school.rska884 wrote:I'm flying in Thursday morning (6 am from Newark...a2s8h wrote:Also taking Amtrak in from NYC. You know people just dress normally in law school though right?rska884 wrote:I personally prefer to err on the side of overdressed - I'd much rather be the only person in a button down than the only person in shorts and flip flops. Yup, and when I'm going to classes, I'll wear whatever. But when I'm going to a reception with professors and administrators, even as a current student? You bet I'll err on the side of overdressed again.earthabides wrote:You know people just dress normally in law school though right?rska884 wrote:I personally prefer to err on the side of overdressed - I'd much rather be the only person in a button down than the only person in shorts and flip flops. Haha yeah, that's true. Wasn't planning on wearing a suit anyway, but a nice button down and khakis or other non-jeans? Just much more comfortable in these types of settings than sweatpants, in my personal opinion.benwyatt wrote:Why is this still being debated when:rska884 wrote:Yup, and when I'm going to classes, I'll wear whatever. So it turns out red-eye flights are the worst thing ever. Didn't sleep a bit. So if you see a guy wandering around like a zombie today with bloodshot eyes, say hello!Navyhornguy wrote:I'm boarding my red-eye flight in Seattle. See some of you tomorrow at the open house!

Do you guys think we should bring a bag to carry any crap they might give us around in? I hate to tote things around all weekend, but do they normally hand out a lot of things at ASWs?

I'm bringing a bag to tote my own things in and whatever they give us. And you may want something to carry the readings we're supposed to do before the mock classes tomorrow. I think it's personal preference. I'm not sure how much material they'll be handing out thoughhamiltoniana wrote:Do you guys think we should bring a bag to carry any crap they might give us around in?
