I hope to! It looks like its only $25 for the season but you have to pick tickets up before each game I think. I plan on getting some for my husband tooThe Abyss wrote:Anyone planning on going to any of the football games this fall?

Did anyone else get an email today (vandy email acct) saying they've been enrolled in an online course that begins today?
This has to be a mistake, right? The course is called "Protection of Minors 101" and it says it's required training for all Vandy faculty, students, and staff who will be supervising minors. Wtf? Is there something I don't know?

I added a little more info to my previous post. I mean I'm not even technically enrolled yet - why have I been mysteriously enrolled in a class?SirArthurDayne wrote:Lol no. Guess I'll email admissions tomorrow. Everything has gone wrong today, so it would figure that I would be enrolled without my knowledge in some random class starting today.

Protecting Minors? I hope we haven't been assigned to some sketchy babysitting jobs as part of our financial aid. LolThe Abyss wrote:Yeah I got this too. The protecting minors thing is a new university requirement. The law school can't do any programs involving minors (e.g. Street law) unless everyone in the entire school has done in the course (I think). So they're trying to get everyone to do it early because a lot of people blew it off, myself included.

Just received a message from admissions saying to disregard the email (for anyone else who may be wondering). In July, they are going to send another email about the course with the "proper information." I'm just going to guess it will be the same thing, but they're going to wait until after we have officially confirmed our enrollment at Vanderbilt before they want us to take a class

That's where they sent the info about the online course. They should've sent an email with your info already. Log in through vmail:SirArthurDayne wrote:Have you guys received your Vandy email yet?

I successfully set up my VU ID but can not set up my email password. I might have registered the password and forgot, but there's no button to even reset your forgotten password lol.

Re: Vanderbilt Law Class of 2019
I just emailed my undergrad institution, knowing that I was required to have the same vaccines when I started there. They sent me my records in like a week. If you haven't tried that, I think it's a good place to start! Otherwise, every state (I believe it's every state) has an immunization Information System where you can order your records (for Washington state it's WAIIS). That's probably a good second place to look.SirArthurDayne wrote:Trying to hunt down my immunization records is so much fun.

Is there more than just doing the "entrance counseling" and filling out the MPN? I'm a bit hazy on exactly how that is supposed to work.
