Ok time to rein it in. Bars are not pie. Cheesecake is pie and therefore cheesecake bars MAY be pie. But not all bars are pie.

One more point re cookie cake: The cookie cake is entirely inferior to the cookie sandwich, better known as the whoopie PIE.

Excuse me, I am from Maine, the homeland of the Whoopie pie. And whoopie pie is basically a cake sandwich.
