I'm totally down to guide you into the magical world of Central Asian/Eastern European cuisine. I'll bring Cones of Dunshire and it will be basically how I planned to find you in this city anyway.benwyatt wrote:Okay, so while that sounds absolutely incredible, I need someone like you who can actually pronounce the confounded thingChervonaKatya wrote:

Actually Oda House is walking distance to The Uncommons and I've made sure they have multiple CoD copies.

Add me to the nerd list, been doing real work all day. I am not too happy about but I will admit that time has gone faster than usual.

Speaking of time, does anyone else purposely disable all clocks in sight at work (e.g. computer clock, phone clock, wall clock)? I do, it seems to help time pass faster

I feel like I could just close the door to my office, take a nap for like 30 minutes, and then be WAY more productive for the remainder of the day. Preschool had it right.

Today I stole a pack of sticky notes from work to make a countdown calendar for my last day. 74 work days and that is tragically most of the pack.

Anybody doing the whole hide-yer-plans from the boss thing? My boss still doesn't know I'm going to law school. I told him I needed some sick time off to attend ASW.
Can't tell if he's oblivious, I'm that smooth, or we're all just not talking about it. Somehow I hid the LSAT studying/frantically writing apps/freaking out in my office over acceptances from him.

I didn't pretend my ASWs were sick time though, I just took vacation and didn't say why.

My boss pretty much knew from day 1 lol and I'm the best they've had pretty much so they're not too thrilled about finding someone to replace me

But in all seriousness even though they're tearing their hair out to replace me they've been insanely supportive and I wouldn't have the amazing options I'm choosing between without them.

My boss has been expecting me to go to law school since this time last year, lol. She probably can't wait to get rid of me come this August (though she claims she's gonna hate to see me go).

Same. I used to have a lot of anxiety over my double life but now I'm like okbye. I'm quitting in the next month to spend some time volunteering this summer so my bombshell-dropping emails are happening soon!benwyatt wrote:I am.wittywitless wrote:Anybody doing the whole hide-yer-plans from the boss thing? but yeah there's only 3 of us so me leaving isnt some small thing, we meant to get another person awhile ago but it has been working decently fine without them. But I keep bugging my boss about getting on it so they're not totally screwed come August but its up to her husband who for some reason keeps putting it off.
