Thanks for the news. Part of me thinks they've offered to the initial class and we are just on hold until everyone confirmspenn19 wrote:Thanks for the info! The sample on TLS will be very small.

Didn't wanna be the first to post about it, but I received and turned down an offer very early last week (they require a 48 hour turnaround). So I imagine they may be rolling out offers and making secondary offers to account for the people who turned them down?penn19 wrote:Thanks for the info! I believe we are all waiting for the new wave of reconsiderations. Basically they waited for people to pull out to see where they stand so they can up scholarships accordingly. I believe either today or tomorrow we will hear back from them.tflan19 wrote:has anyone successfully negotiated?

Think someone upthread mentioned that a scholarship deadline was 4/15 for some folks, so I also wouldn't be surprised if some folks heard on reconsiderations early next week as wellEloverro wrote:I believe we are all waiting for the new wave of reconsiderations. I guess it's impossible for us to know if anyone has accepted the Toll yet?pittsburghpirates wrote:Think someone upthread mentioned that a scholarship deadline was 4/15 for some folks, so I also wouldn't be surprised if some folks heard on reconsiderations early next week as wellEloverro wrote:I believe we are all waiting for the new wave of reconsiderations. Yea it's pretty impossible unless they post here. There were 51 candidates on the doodle which is a small sample. They probably sent out 8 offers so far including the two that turned it down. So they will waterfall out until they have a class :/aviendha wrote:I guess it's impossible for us to know if anyone has accepted the Toll yet?

I was told we would hear something by this week so who knows what the day holds.pittsburghpirates wrote:Think someone upthread mentioned that a scholarship deadline was 4/15 for some folks, so I also wouldn't be surprised if some folks heard on reconsiderations early next week as wellEloverro wrote:I believe we are all waiting for the new wave of reconsiderations. Re: Penn Law Class of 2019
I was just accepted to Penn 4/1 but was still given the opportunity to apply for the Toll. I inquired about timing and was told they are reviewing my file for it now...not sure what that means in relation to all of this but I'm guessing I really don't have a shot at this point since I didn't even participate in the first wave of interviews.gobears!! wrote:Yea it's pretty impossible unless they post here. Is anyone else still waiting on an initial aid offer? There's a slim chance that I'll end up at Penn, but absolutely no chance without any money. Too many good/better offers.

I emailed my adcomm contact asking if I could expect to receive an offer in the near future. They suggested I send competing offers to the scholarship committee to have my file considered.darlenealderson wrote:Is anyone else still waiting on an initial aid offer? Today is the deadline for accepting/turning down the Wilson I was offered. I tried unsuccessfully to ask for a longer deadline, which is probably good news for folks waiting to hear about aid in that they're moving fast. I'm declining and freeing up about $110 over 3 years, and hope some of that goes your way!

Was on a flight talking to an individual about law schools and mentioned I am highly considering attending Penn over some other schools. Their response - "It seems you always hear a lot about Harvard, Yale, and Cornell. I'm not sure people really talk much about Penn State, but I guess if it makes you happy then you should definitely go there."

So true! at ASW Ja Rule called the school Penn State and everyone was so pissed. But for all its worth the people who have jobs to offer are well aware of the differenceTom_Haverford wrote:Was on a flight talking to an individual about law schools and mentioned I am highly considering attending Penn over some other schools. Do you guys think Aug 22 is too late to move into Philly? I'm pretty sure orientation/classes start on the 31st, not sure if that's crunching too much :/
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
