Haha 105k initial offer from Duke, zero from UVA. Also got in on September 4th. Was posted once I got an email about it.

And yah agree with everyone... Admitted in October, big money from peer schools, showed uva hella love and I'm local.

Condolences to everyone, I didn't realize how much other UVA hype was out there. I would bet the farm that I'll be joining the rest of you when my info is uploaded

Yeah, was admitted in October, good numbers, love UVA/major family ties to the area and personal/professional reasons for wanting to go near DC. People with my numbers got Dillards last year....so getting nothing still stung, even though I 100% knew it was coming. I'm still going to ASW since there's no point canceling now, but probably will withdraw. Also didn't get an email.

I literally made less than 40k last year, with no assets and four children to support. I have no idea who they give need based aid to if not me. I'm literally crying in a doctor's office. I already paid 500 for my flight and another 150 for a room to stay in for ASW. Worst. Day. Ever.

I have been talking to my children about how you can do anything if you set your mind to it. I guess I should add, and you are rich. Not to mention my cost of living is going to be so much higher with my children's expenses added on.

Sending the most good vibes I can to a person over the internet. I hope another school will come through for you big time!

Also only offered loans.. My UVA hype has pretty much been destroyed. I am still going to ASW though since I paid for a hotel already and I want to gorge myself on food at UVA's expense.

5) UVA Law typically doesn’t negotiate scholarships offers. This is a change from the recent past, when the scholarship committee was under different leadership. If you do have offers from peer schools you would like the scholarship committee to see, please send them directly to Dean Faulk — but please be aware your current award is unlikely to change.

In case anyone missed it on FB, and is hopeful about leveraging their peer school offers.

Given that the admissions office told me not to complete need access (internationals aren't eligible for need based) I'm wondering if I'll just get a merit update today....

I still don't understand this. I'm international and was specifically told to complete needaccess and internationals ARE eligible for need-based aid.
