so I accidentally hit the 5-7 hrs instead of the 3-5 so the poll is slightly off bc I was out of it when I submitted... but theres also the owner, his wife and me so I'm kind of forced to get some work done

also got called for jury duty once... was kinda excited, was a little prescription drug ring case but sadly couldnt do it since again, I'm one of 3 people here and couldn't miss work for it

Disabled veteran begged firefighters to help him find his two prescribed PTSD therapy cats and get them out of his burning apartment (instead of immediately leaving the apartment) and got charged with interfering w/ police and with firefighters. It was very emotional!!! He cried talking about how the cats are all he has and they gave him his life back. (The cats survived as did all humans involved in the fire)

Oh man, I would not have been able to impartial in that case. Glad everyone survived, but that's a messed up situation.

I'm a work nerd, too. I work at a really small office and my desk is kind of in the open so people can see what I'm doing. Makes it slightly more difficult to waste time.

Glad we didn't schedule the wedding for today...

I've never been called for jury duty. I can't decide if I want to be or not.

I served on a jury last year and it was the perfect week. I'm hoping that doesn't get me booted this time around. If I could be a full-time juror I would.

I'm in the car with my boss on the way to see a client and he just swerved and spilled his FULL, HOT coffee all over my crotch.... Now I've got burnt crotch, soaking wet grey pants (why couldn't I be wearing black like usual?!), smell like an espresso machine exploded on me, and need to dry clean these pants. Worst part - instead of saying sorry he starts making fun of how it looks like I peed myself and says I'll "survive"
