I have tried to register twice and gotten an error of some sort. =(thelostweasley wrote:ILSP LINK HAS BEEN SENT VIA EMAIL!
NOTE: The new student checklist page has been updated with actual deadlines! I will update the OP with these dates later this evening
I suspect I'll have to try again later tonight or tomorrow. It may be that they're not ready to accept actual registrations.
Interesting way they have the selection for the charity work set up. What is everyone selecting?

Hey OP, how did you find that we can get football tickets on July 25th? Is it a lottery?

OP thanks for updating the dates!
I picked General, Children, Animals, Outdoors. Pretty much trying to stay indoors in the Gainesville summer heat!

Yeah, I thought about that, but then I figured, if I don't do the outside work, who will?! Hopefully, it's not like sure enough construction work. I've done that, but don't care to do it again. The other reason I picked outdoor work is to remind myself where I'll be if I fail. There's nothing wrong with outside hard work, but I don't want to do it for my whole life.medtolaw wrote:OP thanks for updating the dates!

That’s actually a great perspective. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the outdoors. But I live about as far north as you can get without being in Canada so I need some time to adjust to the Florida weather!Sonar80 wrote:Yeah, I thought about that, but then I figured, if I don't do the outside work, who will?! New Hampshire, one state over. I'm about an hour from the Canadian border. Coldest temp this winter was -21F!thelostweasley wrote:Are you moving here from Maine?!medtolaw wrote:That’s actually a great perspective. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the outdoors. Re: UF Law Class of 2019
I grew up in FL so theoretically I should be used to the heat and humidity. But I've moved further and further north over the years so it'll be an adjustment. Thankfully I survived but my car battery has died on more than one occasion due to the cold!thelostweasley wrote:Holy shit. I've lived in FL since I was 3, so I'd probably die instantaneously at that temp.medtolaw wrote: New Hampshire, one state over. I'm about an hour from the Canadian border. Yeah, I don't know how to function any lower than about 40F. At -21F I think I'd just curl into a ball and wait for it to pass. I'm certainly not getting any work done, and damned sure am not about to be friendly!!thelostweasley wrote:Holy shit. Does anyone know if scholarships will increase to match the tuition increase?

I like when it gets chilly here. Gainesville should hit the 40s in the winter yayKat1021 wrote:Native Floridian here....I'll wear a jacket at 70 degrees LOL I'm weak when it comes to the cold, but I sure hate Florida summers!Sonar80 wrote:Yeah, I don't know how to function any lower than about 40F.
