I interviewed two days before kjm and haven't heard a thing. No status checker change either. Weird.
They told me 2-3 weeks. I interviewed the same day as kjm as well and haven't seen any movement in my status checker either. Maybe they are just taking a little longer in order to throw more $$ our way?

I interviewed last week (Wednesday) and was told I'd hear hopefully by the middle of this week.

I interviewed last week (Wednesday) and was told I'd hear hopefully by the middle of this week.

Okay I realized I was wrong in my original post. I interviewed on a Wednesday(March 2) and my status checker changed to scholarship mailed the following Tuesday and then I received it that Friday.

I received my scholarship offer about a week after my interview - pretty generous. I've always had a big soft spot for Duke, but not sure if it'll be enough to get me there.

yes. dunno about expediting the process...but it is, in fact, optional and you can get merit aid without it.

Texas--usually 2-3 days. They mail it priority right?

It's USPS for sure, but I can't remember if they said priority or not.

It's by the deposit deadline if I'm not mistaken, which is outlined in your acceptance packet. I don't know if they stagger based on admission date, but (my)the deposit deadline is April 22.

Scholarship letter was sent out the 15th. I was SO excited to receive a package from Duke in the mail today! I raced inside to open it...

...it was a t shirt and a magazine....

Counting down the days. I feel like I'm waiting for my hogwarts letter.

Oh man, in my interview Dean Hoye warned that scholarship info would come in just a regular, small white envelope, and he said sometimes people get excited they got a package and think it's money but it's just a tshirt. I've been hoping for a tshirt ever since and you just gave me hope that's a real thing.

It's a little sad how excited I am about a free tshirt

Recieved my offer the same day as my t-shirt yesterday! And does anyone know whhen is the best time to start negotiating? Someone mentioned that Dean Hoye said end of the month but should we wait to send our letters until then?
