I got Charlie Young, so I guess I'm going to Georgetown Law
So based on past quiz performance by members of this thread, Charlie Young = Mewtwo?

Last time I tried not drinking coffee for a day I ended up taking a nap in my car during my lunch hour. Never again.ugg wrote:that's bc it is a terrible decisionThe Abyss wrote:Giving up caffiene is feeling like a pretty terrible decision right now.

Eh...a real one requires more effort than "Senioritis" implies and I missed lunch today, so I'll take the crackers, as C.J. would have wanted.rska884 wrote:
That seems dangerously open to interpretation.

You could unquit. It'd help with the headache. The Abyss wrote:I just have a horrible headache. No energy issues.

I quit because of bad anxiety, palpitations and I was sleeping horribly. I'll take the headaches, for now.practical cat wrote:You could unquit. It'd help with the headache. The Abyss wrote:I just have a horrible headache. No energy issues.

Definitely fair. I made a similar choice a few years ago. I'm back on caffeine but it's no longer 95% of the chemical makeup of my body and quitting was the only way to get there. The Abyss wrote:I quit because of bad anxiety, palpitations and I was sleeping horribly. Maybe more like 40% of the chemical makeup of my body?

Drunk guy at trivia just shouted out an answer that was simultaneously incorrect, racist, and completely unintelligible. I've never been more impressed.

Things you should know before hand, I run trivia at a bar in Houston in an area that used to be rural but has become a victim of sprawl. We have a weird mix of ranchers, farmers, and young professionals.capricasixx wrote:Do tell!BirdLawExpert wrote:Drunk guy at trivia just shouted out an answer that was simultaneously incorrect, racist, and completely unintelligible. Question was "El Kabong was the alter-ego of what horsey cartoon sheriff?"
Now, I couldn't hear the entire answer, but I heard "fuckin' spic pony mumble mumble wall to keep em out mumble mumble speedy gonzalez".
I responded with, "well, it's not that."

Well I know how you feel in bad Friday news. My bracket is busted also. And more terribly, my company unexpectedly shut down and laid off a few hundred employees this week, myself included. So I have had better weeks. If only they could have done this in July...
Schocolate - thanks, and yes I will at least plan to work either full or part time this summer - not sure yet. But still have expense to account for and money to save up before school.
And Caprica, thank you, it was def rough and in the long term I am missing out on $$ I was going to make. But luckily yes I am getting some severance and unemployment options. So things could be worse. The downside is that I live across country from my family, so it has caused my "prep for law school timeline" to shift. But hey this will make law school stress seem like a Breeze right?! Lol. All in all, could be worse. If you have never experience a major layoff first hand, I hope you never do. Watching it happen to coworkers with spouses and children was tough.
But enough of that, hope you all are otherwise well and enjoyed or are prepping to enjoy ASWs coming up!
