MONDAY SOUR GRAPES whether on TLS or in "real life" if you ask a question for which the answer has JUST been addressed you should be required to sing, in a public venue, a solo performance of Mmm Bop by Hanson

Wait what should you be required to sing? I think I missed that.EnderWiggin wrote:MONDAY SOUR GRAPES whether on TLS or in "real life" if you ask a question for which the answer has JUST been addressed you should be required to sing, in a public venue, a solo performance of Mmm Bop by Hanson

AGREED. I can't even go on the Negotiating Scholarships Works page anymore. Maybe if no one helps them they'll suck it up and click back two pages to find the answer themselves. And if not, I don't really want to help them anyway.EnderWiggin wrote:MONDAY SOUR GRAPES whether on TLS or in "real life" if you ask a question for which the answer has JUST been addressed you should be required to sing, in a public venue, a solo performance of Mmm Bop by Hanson

Totally love this.
When am I supposed to sing it again? Sorry I'm just really lazy and can't scroll up to the top of the page otherwise I might overexert myself.

My sourest bunch of grapes this week, however, is reserved for ASU, with their April 1st deposit deadline. I don't even know how that's going to work.

Anyone who asks this question at this point should be automatically enrolled at Golden Gate or Cooley, as it's basically been brought up and confirmed every day since January. If you're that bad at research, you shouldn't be a lawyer.

Saying it's just since January is being particularly generous. Whenever GTown admits started that question really took off.BirdLawExpert wrote: "Does anyone know if the admitted students website generating a login means you've been accepted?"

I figured I'd give December some leeway since that's when the website opened and you could reasonably be skeptical at that point, but by January it had been confirmed at least a dozen times so I would no longer consider that acceptable.benwyatt wrote:Saying it's just since January is being particularly generous. Do I have to ask something someone has asked before to get to sing Mmmbop in public? Because I excel at karaoke and have no qualms about singing this, followed by In The End by Linkin Park followed by My Name Is by Eminem.

Registered for a marathon at the end of May. Haven't run more than 10 miles in 2 years... Haven't really run at all in 2 years.

Re: Senioritis / Quitting-my-job-soon-iorits
I've been surprised by how much running has "come back" the past 1.5 weeks or so (I ran collegiately, then went cold turkey) but I'll see what happens the next couple weeks as I decide if I want to run hard or not. The marathon is long - the longest I ever did in college was 23, and I was 100x more fit back then. I got in the race for free ("Elite," in the most vague sense of the word) so it wouldn't be a big deal to ditch.rska884 wrote:...James.K.Polk wrote:Registered for a marathon at the end of May. imo you are more at risk for injury due to compressing a training schedule than not being able to do it fitness-wise. My SO trained for a marathon on a similar schedule a few years ago and got pretty bad overuse injuries in his knees because he didn't give adequate time to transition from regular sprints (soccer) to regular distance running.

Re: Senioritis / Quitting-my-job-soon-iorits
You definitely are. But in college I was running 120+ miles per week, so I think ramping up quickly to 50 here won't be a huge shock to the system. That said, maybe it will be, and I won't be able to run. But I'd rather press and try for a sub-2:30 than just jog a 3 hour marathon.archipm wrote:James.K.Polk wrote: I've been surprised by how much running has "come back" the past 1.5 weeks or so (I ran collegiately, then went cold turkey) but I'll see what happens the next couple weeks as I decide if I want to run hard or not.
