Upon further reading, your original post on this subject makes it sound like benwyatt and I eloped.

This landscape has become like a 4 person tag-team cage match of virtual ship-dom between you titans. and the lurkers are the largest backyard wrestle-mania crowd ever to watch from the confines of the rural, Tri-County, municipal, county rodeo fair grounds and concert hall.

This sounds like a place where you'd see a Kid Rock cover band.Dawg57 wrote:This landscape has become like a 4 person tag-team cage match of virtual ship-dom between you titans. and the lurkers are the largest backyard wrestle-mania crowd ever to watch from the confines of the rural, Tri-County, municipal, county rodeo fair grounds and concert hall.

Re: Senioritis / Quitting-my-job-soon-iorits
So I have my first ASD this weekend for Santa Clara, which is obviously my last choice school, but it's so far the only place I've gotten in outright and they offered me a 75% scholly. So what do I wear that says "I would rather spoon out my own eyes than attend your school" but also says "you're currently my only solid option so I'm keeping a relatively open mind"?
I'm thinking either my t-shirt with George W. Bush's face that says "What Would Jesus Bomb" or my mashup Elsa/Daenarys costume from last Halloween. Thoughts?

Irony alert, I was describing the concert I went to for the first time after I passed my GED test (leaving out the precise county name) and it was close to a Kid Rock Cover band -- but better. An Alabama cover band appropriately named Georg-issippi.BirdLawExpert wrote:This sounds like a place where you'd see a Kid Rock cover band.Dawg57 wrote:This landscape has become like a 4 person tag-team cage match of virtual ship-dom between you titans. and the lurkers are the largest backyard wrestle-mania crowd ever to watch from the confines of the rural, Tri-County, municipal, county rodeo fair grounds and concert hall.

Damn if there is anything binge watching Friends on Netflix has once again taught me it is why these people were stamped on literally everything in the mid 90s

In confidence that you can pull it off - a Frozen / GoT combo wins every time. I like both ideas though to get your point across. But wait, you mean you arent totally over sold on the school by the beautiful weather and that Hispanic-stucco styled campus? Not that I am talking shit about SC because I certainly am not a T14 gunner candidate or anything.capricasixx wrote:So I have my first ASD this weekend for Santa Clara, which is obviously my last choice school, but it's so far the only place I've gotten in outright and they offered me a 75% scholly. I feel somewhat similarly about WashU (best scholly offer, but not the best school for what I want to do). I plan to wear all of my hipster clothing and continue to not shave my majestic beard; so basically my plan is to look like the opposite of a future law student.capricasixx wrote:So I have my first ASD this weekend for Santa Clara, which is obviously my last choice school, but it's so far the only place I've gotten in outright and they offered me a 75% scholly. Re: Senioritis / Quitting-my-job-soon-iorits
I've lurked here a bit during my lunch hour the last couple weeks (hi! sorry for not saying hi sooner!) and the love triangle (pentagon?) that has developed has become something of a weird soap opera that I'm strangely emotionally invested in and I felt obligated to say something since I've derived so much entertainment from this thread. Anyway, happy Tuesday! See anyone in Charlottesville later this week?

My wife has settled on a quit-job-by date of mid-April. I am so consumed with envy.

I'm in this weird place where I'm being completely unproductive with my own scripts/stories, but hypercritical of scripts that I'm editing/doctoring. My manager called me up and asked if I had finished anything other than the contest scripts I already submitted, and when I told him how much work I had done on other people's stuff he laughed, called me an idiot, and hung up.benwyatt wrote:How I feel about my recent work product:

That sounds about right, but, I cannot for the life of me gather what you do for work, other than the obvious subbing lol
