Nah, you're wrong - this article is about ME. You know how when they say something is based on a true story they take liberties with major details? Well, I'm not a bald man, but was definitely the real-life inspiration for this piece.
Hahaha I was so anxious all last week and last weekend. I actually threw up by dinner at one point. For no reason. This week was better so far, but now the anxiety is creeping back.

It's a good thing we're all about to embark on one of the most stressful educational paths.

I'm at the doctors and I made it into the back room but it's been like thirty minutes and I want to take a nap.

As long as you're not already wearing the paper robe, I say go for it.

Can we turn this into an old-school text adventure?

BirdLaw enters the doctor's exam room. There is a folded paper robe on the examination table. The doctor is nowhere to be found.

Type 1 to make BirdLaw put on the paper robe.

Type 2 to make BirdLaw nap.

Type 3 to make BirdLaw hide behind the open door and jump out when the doctor arrives.

BirdLaw dons the paper robe and crouches down behind the door, snickering to himself about the fantastic prank he's about to pull on the doctor. However, his sleep deprivation gets the better of him, and his eyelids begin to droop. Within minutes, he is asleep, curled up in the corner.

There is a knock at the exam room door.

Type 1 to make BirdLaw wake up just in time to cover himself and assume a more dignified position.

Type 2 to make the doctor enter the exam room and encounter the disheveled, snoring BirdLaw in the corner of the room.

EDIT: I might be avoiding actual work tasks.

The doctor enters the exam room and shrieks in terror.

Type 1 to make the doctor call security.

Type 2 to make the doctor give BirdLaw an unpleasant wakeup call with pepper spray and a few sharp kicks to the abdomen.

Well what would you do if a half-naked man were snoring on the floor of your place of business?

Write him a prescription for medication to treat narcolepsy. I am a doctor, after all :D

Day 6 and she still has not noticed. Tomorrow we celebrate 1 week of sabotage :D
Are you going to come clean at some point and tell her that a group on weirdos on the internet have been requesting frequent updates on the status of her painting?

Probably. I'd like to see if it lasts until I leave in a few months, but I might have to spill the beans before then. Maybe if she doesn't notice after a month I should tell her?
Absolutely not, why would you even ask that?

OH HO HO HO well done.

I've been doing this really odd thing called my job.

I didn't like it, don't let me do that again.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
