I totally didn't spend like 20 minutes with my undergrad health services trying to convince them to fax my current doctor my records this morning because of this. Nope.Kluge wrote:Was anyone else sort of blindsided by the health services deadline? Haha had to scramble today to set up an appointment.

Yeah, I was even worse. Knew about it, and even called my undergrad to see how to get my records, just haven't done anything since then. Definitely gonna do something now, no way I procrastinte till the day before

I was bummed because all of the deadlines for vaccinations/physical/etc. are "in the last five years" and I got all mine for grad school about 5 years, 2 months ago so I had to get a bunch of stuff redone.

I was kinda blindsided because I'm currently traveling out of the country. I called HUHS and they said that the physical is actually optional (a vibe I didn't at all get from the form so feel free to call in yourself, but that's what I was told).Kluge wrote:Was anyone else sort of blindsided by the health services deadline? Anyone know what the deal is when the floor plan on room swap wizard shows a bathroom as a specific gender but the Gropius complex page (http://hls.harvard.edu/dept/dos/housing ... s-complex/) describes the bathroom as gender-neutral (see Story Hall Floor 4 if it's still available)?
Trust in the page since the floor plans are black and white so they're probably old or is that the worst reasoning you've ever heard?

I don't remember where I read that, but it was somewhere legit.

So, from what I can tell, the required sections are:tonysoprano wrote:I was kinda blindsided because I'm currently traveling out of the country. 1.) Immunization form
2.) Tuberculosis questionnaire
3.) Meningococcal Vaccination Waiver (if you aren't getting it)
Does that seem right to the rest of y'all?

Re: Harvard Law School Class of 2018
Can anyone, maybe a current student, tell me a bit about the Spring exams? I noticed on the academic calendar that April 27-May 6, 2016 is the "Upper-level and 1L Elective Spring Term Exam Period" but I haven't found much online about this 1L Elective.
How does that work? You take the gamut of required courses your 1L but then you also choose one Elective course? Or is that just for 1Ls who decide to take an Elective/Upper-level class? Orr is it mandatory?
Thanks

Ugh, do I really have to get a TB test because I'm from a country that's in ~the forbidden zone~ but that has lower TB infection rates than France and the UK? Harvard pls.

The only HLS things I've done lately are get a TDAP shot in my shoulder and start the loan application process, both of which have proved to be painful but in different waysMack.Hambleton wrote:How do we still have less posts than the uchiraq thread

We could make like the UChi thread and start talking about food. We can even make it relevant and talk about Cambridge food! I can't be the only one who's picked up a habit of yelping bars/restaurants/coffee shops within walking distance.radio1nowhere wrote:The only HLS things I've done lately are get a TDAP shot in my shoulder and start the loan application process, both of which have proved to be painful but in different waysMack.Hambleton wrote:How do we still have less posts than the uchiraq thread

My advice: go to Burdick's. It is the best chocolate you'll ever find, their cocoa is divine, and it's just a five minute walk away.leslieknope wrote:We could make like the UChi thread and start talking about food.
