Well as expected none of the cheaper-than-standard rooms were available in North, so I'll be living in Shaw 2 next year!

Re: Harvard Law School Class of 2018
I'm considering a three bedroom in Botanic Gardens or Holden Green, and a North Hall small single. The rent would be about $1000 for Botanic, $900 for Holden Green, or $1288 for North Hall (All prices per person). I was wondering if any current students or very-informed 0L's had any thoughts about these three options, specifically Botanic and Holden, as I don't really know much about them. Saving $300 or so a month would be fantastic, but I'd like to hear from anyone who has lived in either of those or knows someone who has.

Re: Harvard Law School Class of 2018
I'll bite here so other soon-to-be-1L's can see too. I've heard very good things about Botanic, and if given another shot, I'd probably try to get a room there. It's a bit further from campus than North, but still close enough, and that price is great. Plus, HUH is a solid landlord. I have a good friend who lives there, so if you have more specific questions, I'm happy to do some snooping.RedColossus wrote:I'm considering a three bedroom in Botanic Gardens or Holden Green, and a North Hall small single. I'll be at Botanic Gardens next year, it looks like a good spot, especially if you like/don't mind a quieter atmosphere. I went by and talked to a guy that lives there and he had nothing but good things to say.RedColossus wrote:I'm considering a three bedroom in Botanic Gardens or Holden Green, and a North Hall small single. I'm just selfishly giddy I already live in Boston and don't have to deal with windows and moving. But my commute will suck compared to all of you, and will preclude most of my ability to socialize, so that balances it out I guess.
Really looking forward to meeting you all and not knowing it.

Re: Harvard Law School Class of 2018
Got a Gropius room.
I might still switch because I got a more expensive room than I wanted to so that I'd be on a floor with a gender neutral bathroom (as opposed to a male) and my HUH window's coming up, but at least I am assured of not being homeless. There's still like three rooms in Story available and a few in Hastings, by the way!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
