also holy shit beating cake batter by hand - even with a handheld mixer thing - is so much work compared to the KitchenAid.

I did make puff pastry by hand the other day and it was AWESOME. I was thinking that I should have a bake sale to raise money for Law Student Housing aka my own rent.
That'll be the next NYT article, with a photo of Gray selling cupcakes in front of McDonough in the header.
