I have been told some of my grades have posted. I went to take a look but my password for the stand alone grade portal does not work nor does the automated reset. I have been too busy/lazy to get in touch with IT to get this resolved.

I'm in my last day of my Jury Selection class. Still have 6 more class days for my other January Term class. They also released updated class standing today, but not book awards yet.

I talked to someone yesterday who won't look at any of their grades until they get email notifications that all of their grades are in. I wanted to ask how but was literally speechless.

I feel like not going to such things doesn't hurt you in the sense that people with notice you're not there and hold it against you. It's more that you lose an opportunity to meet people and start building relationships that will actually help you in the future.

(But also keep in mind I didn't do biglaw so this is just general perception of jobs/people/etc. And also I hate things like this and never go either.)
