Well, it's not completely closed. I get to bring an unannotated, untabbed book of the tax code :S

The Dean of students met with out class, a student asked about law school exam restrictions, and he chuckled and said something along the lines that if a person practiced law in the manner that we test students on the law (racing through everything without using references on subjects that you do not know cold) it would be borderline legal malpractice

My reaction when I found out the exam software at the school I transferred to does not allow you to simultaneously look at your outline (open mode)

Goodbye any advantage I had over the probably 3 people per class who don't use CTRL+F

What's kind of fucked up is that two little two credit classes were just as much work as 3 and 4 credit doctrinals. WTF

There's schools that allow you to look at your exam and outline both on the laptop? We don't even get spellcheck and all outlines have to be paper copies.

this is how my school is too.

anyway tax went fine it was pretty straightforward although i didn't do great. lots of people thought it was easy so predicting a P

I literally don't care anymore. Final for one class is a paper 7,500 words (but the directions also say 20-30 pages). Made it 20 pages at around 5,000 words. Good enough.

That sucks. We can Ctrl+F our outline on the computer (unless the professor decides differently), and we just write our exams in Word. We aren't allowed to copy from the outline and paste it into the Word document, though.

I'm so jealous and upset right now. Examsoft is literally the worst.
