So... even the profs don't know wtf is happening in fedcourts?Minnietron wrote:Your description of Fed Courts piqued my interest. I found this http://prawfsblawg.blogs.com/prawfsblaw ... ourts.html. Fed Courts is some strange stuff.

Can you give me a rundown of how to do this? By tomorrow? Closed book, word limited, in-class racehorse exam. The first two factors weigh against me. Vomit means you don't have to evaluate strength of arguments. I like vomit, especially under a time crunch. You got this. The key with most words limits is to not overthink the problem. (i.e. if your prof were to tell you in a secured transactions exam that attachment occurred, don't go down the line of attachment at all.) The hard part about word limits is when you find really complicated issues that the prof didn't mean to put in there. In that case, pay homage to that error in a sentence or two and more on. Also closed book makes the word limit better unless they expect you to cite cases/code.Minnietron wrote:Can you give me a rundown of how to do this? By tomorrow? FWIW: I never bother to really cite cases/code unless its something we discussed at length. Probs why my con law score was so low since thats the only area of law where all the cases matter.

I did not have this. Worst exam ever written. I'm pretty sure there is something wrong with my brain that cannot turn the vomit off. But I realized I needed to, so I tried. It made for a muddled mess of letters, and I don't think any of it made sense. Possible discretionary C territory. Saturday exams are terrible, but a little less so since "days of the week" don't really matter.Dr. Nefario wrote:

It'll turn out better than you feel! But I know the feeling. I'm preparing for a monday exam I am doomed for. Hasn't been taught by this prof in forever, supplements don't exist for this entire area of law, and I can't study without having a book that dumbs down the law for me.Minnietron wrote:I did not have this. Agreed. Spoon feed me info and tell me how you want me to write the thing - i.e. model answers. I'm worthless without both of those.Dr. Nefario wrote:
