Re: Don't ask, don't 2L
One week in and I've officially lost all motivation to study ever again. Does this mean I did 1L right or I'm doing 2L wrong?

Were you setting someone up for this? Because it feels like you were setting someone up for this:Dr. Nefario wrote:One week in and I've officially lost all motivation to study ever again. Does this mean I did 1L right or I'm doing 2L wrong?

I fell like you're referencing journal work...If not, I will say this proposition directly supports journal work- [no signal]buckiguy_sucks wrote:Meaningless busy work is even more teeth pulling as a 2L than a 1L help me lord

I'm of no use to advise here, aside from helping with apostrophe placement.Dr. Nefario wrote:Just remembered I offered to sell my soul for a SA at one point....ya'lly'all don't think I'm still on the line for that right?

Of the things in life crushing my will/making me miserable, journal probably doesn't crack the top 10, mostly because there are no consequences for poor (within reason) performance.haus wrote:So, it is working as designed?unsweetened wrote:Journal is crushing my will.

Sacraficing the opportunity for EIC is, likely, a consequence. We might not care about that consequence, but it exists.Hikikomorist wrote:Of the things in life crushing my will/making me miserable, journal probably doesn't crack the top 10, mostly because there are no consequences for poor (within reason) performance.haus wrote:So, it is working as designed?unsweetened wrote:Journal is crushing my will.

Are inconsequential consequences consequential, though?Minnietron wrote:Sacraficing the opportunity for EIC is, likely, a consequence. Well, should you opt to go on a murderous rampage, you are entitled to a jury of your peers. As long as you can get agreement that your peers are others on Journals I think you have a reasonable chance of a favorable verdict, and if not... well at least you wouldn't need to worry about Jornal anymore.IsThisForReal wrote:It's making me want to go on a murderous rampageunsweetened wrote:Journal is crushing my will.

What if the sentence included 10,000 hours of Bluebooking poorly-cited student notes?haus wrote:Well, should you opt to go on a murderous rampage, you are entitled to a jury of your peers. I would imagine that any mandatory Bluebooking for a prisoner (other than perhaps their own appeal) would be cruel and unusual. Although, I imagine that Bluebooking fellow prisoners appeals would be even uglier than a normal set of bad student notes.
