Curse you.
How did you know the way to overcome my laziness was to contradict something that I said with little evidence but that i still believe to be true?

ETA: Dammit. I did all that work and then I get scooped??

ETA2: People. I'm a sarcastic guy. I just thought I'd throw that out here in case anyone ever found themselves taking me seriously.

Hmmm... I scooped you, but was cursed with an end-of-page post. You did the pretty quote thing, but I bolded the relevant information. I'd call it a draw.

I'm happy with that.

+1. Hopefully they'll stick to their timeline and give us a decision in a few weeks (or earlier!)

Just withdrew from Georgetown
No scholarship feeler email from them and while I was thinking up of a value to request from Georgetown I realized there was no circumstance in which I would attend Georgetown with a full Darrow and stipend at Michigan, nor would $$ from Georgetown help me with other scholarship negotiations. I'm not freeing up any money for anyone but good luck to everyone else!!

Did everyone who has received scholarship money receive two feeler emails? I am not sure if I should be vague or specific in my response to the first email. It seems very casual and open ended. Did you guys write lengthy detailed responses or just a few sentences?
Edit: Also, who did you address the email to? Do you just hit reply or new email?

I hit reply, and mine was several paragraphs long.

What is the Georgetown scholarship response email? Response to an scholarship offer, or response to an outreach email?

I addressed it generally to the Office of Admissions, and wrote a couple brief paragraphs. I did a new email to the same address, but I'm sure either way is fine.

same, originally over a page in word but whittled it down since I figure no one reads that much anymore (except 1Ls)

Do we know if they generally offer more, less, or the same as the number you ask for?

Are any TLS'rs planning on living on-campus? I have a bad feeling I may regret it as the year goes on, but it's just so convenient. Even a distance as short as half a mile may be a difference maker when I'm tired and weighing whether or not I should gt a quick workout in/go to the library. That's how I'll rationalize it for now, anyway.
Apologies for taking the conversation away from the money.
