Re: Georgetown Law Class of 2018
No, I received my scholarship before I submitted the Yellow Application.sheishkabob wrote:Hey guys, how long did it take to get credentials on the admitted students site? I called the help desk and was able to get my Net ID over the phone, but they wouldn't give me my U ID which is necessary to be able to fill out the Yellow Application. Is the Yellow Application necessary for scholarship awards? I haven't received any email yet and idk if it's because I haven't filled that out yet (I filled out need access and Fafsa forever ago, and I should definitely be eligible for need-based aid). I was admitted a little over 2 weeks ago...is it too early to solicit/does the Yellow Application need to be completed first? haaaaalllpp

Re: Georgetown Law Class of 2018
Figured I'd take a break from refreshing Spivey's Twitter feed and was messing around with the "MyAccess.georgetown.edu" website. Noticed they added a "financial aid" tab to mine. There are two sections under that tab: "Student Requirements" & "Award Info". You can sort it by year. Nothing for the 2015-2016 year yet, at least for me - just an FYI on where to find information. I recently filled out my FAFSA stuff - that's probably why.

I have asked them if my application has been received, and it turned out it was lost somewhere on the way.Picosaurus wrote:I've been wondering the same thing, I would have thought there would be some sort of confirmation email but no such luck :/xtgg5020 wrote:Did anyone applying GLS get a response yet? I haven't heard anything from them since I submitted my application 2 weeks ago. Wondering how fast the spaces are filling up?

They told me on Friday that they are still accepting and viewing applications this week. and they don't have a deadline since they will accept applications as long as there are spaces available.Picosaurus wrote:Wow, that's more than a little frightening! I'll send them an email today to check in on mine. Are you going to send another application or is it too late?xtgg5020 wrote:I have asked them if my application has been received, and it turned out it was lost somewhere on the way.

Also my GLS app was received apparently. Wish it had a status checker. They still want me to mail the language eval instead of email.
What is this, 1972? Can we compromise? I'll fax it?
Got my GLS acceptance e-mail today. PM for details/questions.

IIRC, when I posted about not wanting to do research and Gray posted the link to the PILS website which made make doing research easy enough even for someone as lazy as me and I went to the website, it said something like PILS selections would be made by the end of March.buckiguy_sucks wrote:NopeDipper wrote:Anyone apply for PILS hear back?
Now, I'm sure the website is still there, but I'm still lazy, and I don't feel like looking back. But someone less lazy than me could certainly check.
