Why so many credits? Is that a TTT thing? We only need to average 13 per semester for the next two years.RCSOB657 wrote:Half my grades back. I'm getting anxious now. 19 hrs for the semester. 6 this summer, 17 for the fall.
There are two admit categories here. There are "summer starters," basically students that did not do well on the LSAT were given a chance to do course work in lighter environment this year. I was a regular admit, 15 hrs last fall, 2 in a January mini-term, 17 just now. The 6 hrs this summer are my for first externship for the LL.m. It counts as 6 of the required 10 skills credit hours for the JD and will garner me a good grade padding. This fall I only 'need' 14 credit hours. I'm taking an additional 2 hr skills course and a 1 hr special topic seminar course though. I'll be required to have 108 Hrs total, 90 JDHrs. and 24 LL.m Hrs. (Counting 6 J.D. credit hours)Hand wrote:Why so many credits? Is that a TTT thing? We only need to average 13 per semester for the next two years.RCSOB657 wrote:Half my grades back. Still no grades here, not even for LRW, which we completed 5.5 weeks ago. Fucking jesuits.

Yes, but not because you don't own a sport coat. It'll be because you'll constantly second-guess your choice to orphan a suit jacket and everyone will see it on your face and silently mock you like the fucking pleb you are. Ugh this. So really 1L won't be over until sometime in September or even October. And what if no job from OCI? 1L could last... forever...Big Red wrote:I feel like 1l isn't really over until I get all my grades back, but then I'm probably going to feel like it won't be over until I hear about journals, but then I'll think it won't really have logically concluded until OCI
