Write on will be miserable but stack checking isn't bad at all. I went through the process for a subordinate journal mostly to prepare for the LR process, and my first editing duties took all of about 6 hours to complete. It'll be well worth it once you get on.LoganCouture wrote:so are all the gunners ITT who read also gunning for law review?

Oh I just don't think LR itself sounds fun or interesting to me, that's why I'm not doing it. It's not bc of the write on.BNA wrote:Write on will be miserable but stack checking isn't bad at all. This varies greatly from one journal to another.BNA wrote:Write on will be miserable but stack checking isn't bad at all. Re: WE HAVE NO CH1LL
How common is it for write-on to be toward the end of the semester instead of in the middle? Ours was during spring break, and while awful at the time, I'm kinda glad it's over and done with now.

Here, it's the two weeks after finals. Which means the first two weeks of your summer job. Not fun.

Clinics at my school were recently put on a mandatory curve. That means you can work your ass off (as is necessary for clinics usually) and still get a B-. No one I know is applying until they switch it back.DCfilterDC wrote:anyone else applying for clinics and what not?

Re: WE HAVE NO CH1LL
never really quite gotten why people show up with pages of typed notes for every day's reading, seems like a pretty irrefutable waste of time honestly
but what do I know, a pretty decent chunk of people do better than me so #ymmv

What are y'all taking in the fall?
I'm actually looking forward to a pair of un-curved 20 person classes.

Taking corps too, seems like it's a prerequisite for nearly everything I want to take later onLoganCouture wrote:our curve never ends. idk for sure what will be offered but definitely corps.unsweetened wrote:What are y'all taking in the fall?

MBA classes and a pass/fail law course. So basically not a single damn class that counts toward my law ranking.
