Jumped on the grenade today in Con Law, making sure that I won't get surprise cold called for the rest of the semester. Readings just got a lot easier.

Reading during class like following along with the lecture keeps you on your toes.

Class becomes like a mystery novel; you never know what twist is waiting around the bend!

It does make my gunnner-dar less effective. I end up paying - some - attention to hypos that have nothing to do with the material. It stand by the trade off.

Yeah, for sure. I mean I fully agree that how one does on cold calls doesn't matter and all, but the anxiety of sitting in class waiting for a cold call that you can't even pretend to bullshit your way through? No thanks.
