yep. send an email and they'll open up the appeals tab.
Although I've noticed the appeals tab also shows up when you save your contact info, but it's probably best to let them do it the way they want.
ETA: It's not on the admitted students portal. It's on the faaps site.

Mine took around a week to get to California. My financial aid letter took like 3 weeks after the acceptance. But again this was a couple of months ago.

Just got a denial of my appeal, which was filed a week ago. A shame too, I would have loved to live in the village again.

Just got the email. Appeal denied.

Sucks since NYU was always my #1 choice
Will be withdrawing. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Wow. I just happened across your LSN profile and your NYU and Chicago offers are way out of line with everything else. What a bummer. Sorry.

I wouldnt go to CCN unless you had at least 90k+ with your other offers anyway

If anyone was wondering why its been taking to long to get your university/net IDs, contrary to all of the information on their website, admissions says it takes 7-10 days after your deposit has been processed (which also takes 7-10 days). So moral of the story is get your deposit in super early to make sure you have those before the housing application deadline (May 15th for priority). And this way you dont have to bug the crap out of the admissions office like I have been!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
