I think generally speaking the username is jharvard.jd18. For the financial aid they use full email (also a pin that isn't the usual password), but other than that most things seem to have been just the username.

That's my mistake, the previous poster is correct. No @etc. required. My bad!

Got it!

So, to clarify for anyone else trying to figure it out:

Username: jharvard.jd18
Password: The password to your HLS/Google email account

Would depend on the date. I'm in Boston as it is so I'm always OK with a game at Fenway. FYI, dunno if this works for out-of-towners, but if you have a valid university email you can snag SRO tickets at Fenway for dirt cheap. Standing behind home plate isn't all that bad if you have a few beers with friends.
Sounds perfect, I'm thinking Friday April 17th so we don't miss any of the ASW evening events (read: dranks).
The buddy who I'm staying with just told me he's busy all night that night, so I'm totally down for this.

Excited to get that shiny new e-mail address too.

Cheapest tickets available for the game are $127 though.
ETA: I fail at website navigation. Bleachers are 27.

I can but a few weeks ago I couldn't... maybe it takes a few weeks for new emails to be put into the system?

I'm in NYC, same JS2 date, and no physical mail yet
Ok, thanks! Also in NYC with variable mail delivery these days, so I just wanted to be sure I didn't miss anything.

I think it might have something to do with if you submitted your online response form. I wasn't able to login to it until I received my confirmation for intent to enroll.

Sweet. Let's talk closer to the beginning of April and nail down who's going/seats, etc. If anybody other April ASW folks are interested in Birds v. Sox, April 17 (Friday) post in here and we'll put a list together.

AirBnB is the credited response for ASW housing, right? Yeesh, these hotel prices.

Definitely the best way to go. Also saw a previous post about flying in the morning of ASW to save yourself the cost of a night, since activities don't start till 2pm

I'm coming from CA, so I'll probably fly in the day before just so I'm not dead on my feet all of Saturday. I found some pretty decent deals on AirBnB so far, though, so everyone should definitely check it out (and soon because the cheap ones are probably gonna go fast!).

I'm locally based, so I'm (thankfully) spared the expense of accommodation. But I would second that if you know you are going to ASW, to sort things out now... Boston is not cheap, and last minute reservations will burn a hole in your pocket really quickly.

AirBnB is absolutely TCR for ASW. Last year the Sheraton Commander was $350/night; I paid $65/night for my own room in a 2Br apt and it was really nice. Can't imagine spending $800+ for a hotel for ASW.

I'd be in for the game on Friday. Has anyone else from the 3/8-3/9 JS2 wave gotten their request to join the FB group approved yet?

I was a 3/09 JS2, and I haven't gotten my Facebook acceptance either.

I'd be in for the game on Friday if my flights work out to get me there in time!

What do you guys think about staying for Monday's events? Yay or nay?

edit: wasn't paying attention and typed what I was saying out loud instead of what I meant to type lol

Hi guys, really excited to see you all at Harvard :) I have what's probably a stupid question about how to register for ASW... I have an email telling me registration's open, but I can't actually find anywhere on the website that tells me how to register. Does anybody know how/anybody else have this problem?

If you go to the admitted students website (the main page, link here) and click on "Admitted Students Weekends" there's a big "Register for ASW" link there. You just fill out the form!

Thanks so much! I think I just didn't refresh the page-- definitely don't deserve my JS2...

Is anyone else getting an authenticated required popup when accessing the admitted students page? Not sure what login info it's asking for.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
