Got my offer as well. No way can I justify NYU at this price or anything close. Less than half of what Chicago gave me and almost a fifth of what I got from Cornell/NU. Boo.

Very true. I talked to a current scholar who asked for extended time to decide (she was granted a week instead of just the 72 hours) b/c Yale.

Question re: scholarship negotiations. Has anyone successfully negotiated for more aid at NYU using a Harvard acceptance? I don't have any aid info from Harvard yet, and the deadline for depositing at NYU to keep your scholarship is fast approaching. Would you try this or not?

No-one has had an appeal decision received in April, right? Last few pages of the thread show decisions on March 31st, but am interested if anyone's heard since then. Feel free to PM.

Do you have any other $$ offers in addition to your HLS acceptance? I'd say it's worth mentioning in an appeal if it's coupled with some other T14 $$. Not speaking from experience though, just a gut feeling.

I haven't seen any ITT. Submitted my appeal 11 days ago and still nothing. Hoping for some news tomorrow.

So I submitted my deposit about 2 weeks ago and still haven't received the Net ID/University ID stuff... Has anyone received there's or am I just super early and need to calm down?

I deposited last week and haven't gotten it yet either.

Where exactly do we submit the scholarship appeal? In previous years people had to email the fin aid for them to active a special link in the admitted students portal -- is this still what is required? Thanks in advance.
