Not sure if this was targeted to people in NYC or not. Any one else get this/planning on attending?
Literally on the other side of the country.
Aha I'm on another continent. Sooooo see you there?

If you make it, I'll buy you a beer.

I emailed the Financial Aid office about merit-only aid and this was their response:
NYUFinaid wrote:In order to only apply for merit based financial aid, you will need to complete our institutional financial aid application. The application is available on-line at
https://faaps.law.nyu.edu/studentmain.html. You will be instructed on that webpage to log in using your LSAC# or SSN (Lxxxxxxxx or xxxxxxxxx) as your username, and your birthdate (mmddyyyy) as your password. Once you are in the database, click on “My Application”, and fill in the requested information.
Yeah, according to the admitted students website, you do have to fill out the Need Access form this year... so I'm a little uncertain.
"Entering first year JD students applying for NYU Law institutional scholarships (need-based and merit-based) are required to submit financial information using the Need Access application. To apply online, visit Access Group's Web site."
Yeah, I'm still totally unclear on this. Has anyone else found out anything else about this?

You need to fill out the Need Access if you are applying for need-based
AND merit-based aid. If you want to apply for merit only, contact the financial aid office, and they'll have you submit a form, but you don't need to fill out Need Access.
If you fill out Need-Access without your parent's information, they'll automatically consider you for merit-based aid only.

Hi there, just wondering what packages you guys have got? I'm international student and snail mail is quite unreliable. They actually re-mailed my acceptance letter using ups after i emailed them. But that's the only thing i got so far. I heard there's a pizzabox. What's in there? Anything important that i need them to re-mail to me again? Thanks.

Letter from Dean Morrison, Viewbook, NYU Law Magazine, flyer for admitted students weekend, and post-it notes.

I'm planning to attend (NYC resident).
On a separate note, is there a C/O 2018 Facebook group yet?

not going to make it to the NYC reception, but they are doing a mid-day thing in DC (DC resident) i'm going to try to attend.
Checking in(:
And I'll likely attend the DC event too!
I do have a question though, and please don't hate me for this, but does the fact that NYU's acceptance rate is in the mid 20s give it a bad image? (as a school that isn't really selective?)

What form do RTK and AnBryce interview invites come in? Phone, email, or letter?
