Exactly, I was made in the fires of Yahoo! answers. Only there can I be unmade.

Lel.

Informal poll: what is worse, writing a memo or writing an appellate brief? Right now I'm leaning towards the latter. Don't think writing was as painful as it is right now last semester.

Definitely a brief. The memo seemed casual to me and I had no issue with the structure. I hate brief writing.

Briefs are wayyyyy worse than memos. Especially considering the formatting, table of contents, etc

Indeed, it's like the difference between watching taupe paint dry and watching fuchsia paint dry.

What's better, persuasive writing, or slowly sawing your arm off with a dull butter knife

I was equating memo writing with the latter. Persuasive writing is with a hacksaw.

Brief >>>>>>>>>>>>>> memo.

Mostly because the structure is looser, at least in my LRW prof's mind.
