Yeah, some schools have already started accepting transfers.

Ah yes. I would say this means they likely did well, but lets be serious; GeorgeTTTown probably lets in twice as many transfers as regular applicants.

Yeah, some schools have already started accepting transfers.

For first years going into their second semester? If true, that's really something.

But I have noticed one new person and have yet to see another I saw basically every day last semester.

Concerning the new student thing, I have two new faces in one of my classes. They are both transfers from some place that didn't require that class first year.

They could be 2L transfers. A lot of the transfers here have to take con law with the 1Ls because their school didn't offer it for 1L.

we have a 2L transfer in our property class, apparently some school doesn't offer it to 1Ls

There's someone who had to take a leave of absence for family reasons last year and is returning to finish 1L now.

Note to self: ask Gray about happenings before musing on the internet.

No dropouts from my section but we have like 4 or 5 people that joined from other sections.

I just can't see why anyone would lie with the anonymous poll though :-/

Also, the way the poll is written is critically important; I would probably call bullshit too if it were "75%LSAT/above median" -- but by lumping @median with above median, we're talking the majority here. Also, depending upon the school, 75-80% of the class could be "median".

We have "The Regulatory State" as well. Do you use the Bressman, Rubin, and Stack book?
