no
why not?
Prediction: All respodents wildly outperformed their LSAT prediction on TLS poll.
?
My understanding is that if you were say above the median LSAT then ended with median grades you would not have wildly outperformed your LSAT prediction you would not be wildly outperforming which I'm sure is a very common TLS outcome
Maybe I'm misunderstanding the q
I'm just assuming, based off of how lounge polls go, that not everyone was going to be 100% honest with their results. See: 1L thread last year where 33% of respondents are in top 10% of their class, and over half are in the top 25%. Is it impossible, no. Is it unlikely to be true? I mean...
That said, I'm up for the poll if everyone else is.
Yeah, sure, bring it. Bortles, don't forget how there's a strong self-selection as to both who finds themselves on here in the first place, and to who ends up still posting after a year--TLS is gunners' paradise, even if we all want to believe we are cool sociable gunners.
As to the question, while I'm above median after last semester, my LSAT relative to that of my class mates would've predicted me being much closer to PnJ-territory than I in fact am.
Alright, alright. I'm sold. But I want there to be a Cool, Sociable poll afterward.

Ok I made the poll. It would be more interesting if we could differentiate further than below vs. at/above median, but there are only 10 options so I couldn't think of a better way to do it

The median we're talking about is our incoming class median not the median when we applied (last year's), right?

I wonder if TLS is over-represented in the above median world (either LSAT or grades) because users are more likely to accept scholarships than the general population?
more importantly: this poll is p silly

I mean so far the poll is pretty much well correlated to LSAT scores

(literally has not come up with a single thread title or poll idea herself; just does whatever people suggest)
