ugh but just choosing between asian foods is hard enough. I agonized over thai vs. vietnamese for weeks before eventually just resigning myself to a life of uncertainty and throwing away my computer

lol it was from Uncommon Goods, if you're familiar? It was an ad for some (admittedly, quite cute) little alphabet blocks.xylocarp wrote:middlebear wrote:^ can that just be AMURRRRICA in the poll?

Yo, Mexican/Spain/Latin America being a single line when the food is really not similar across those three - party foul.

I object to Mexican/Spain/Latin America being grouped together. Mexican is one of the GOAT cuisines, most latin american food is great, but Spanish food and tapas are objectively a waste of money.
Edit: Just realized lc already pointed that out.

Eh, I would have left the other two off then seeing as they're probably much less popular/common in the U.S. but I defer to your wisdom.Wahrheit wrote:I AGREE COMPLETELYlc39 wrote:Yo, Mexican/Spain/Latin America being a single line when the food is really not similar across those three - party foul.
blame tls for not allowing more than 10 poll options
And I do think the 10 option polls require a lot of finagling/sacrifices/creativity so thanks for making these

I don't see any Eastern European option. Borscht all the way. Amateurs.

Oh man, I hope there is a decent Georgian restaurant in Chicago. Khachapuri sounds amazing right now.middlebear wrote:Hell to the yes. Though I admit to being more of a shchi fan myself.PariSiamo wrote:I don't see any Eastern European option. Borscht all the way. Amateurs.
