I can't talk about it at school, so have to here.

I'm sort of dumb struck at the moment, just got an A+ in contracts.

Still waiting on Torts, but that puts my current GPA as nearly double my undergrad GPA. Oh how I wish I listened to my parents all those times they bitched at me for not applying myself in undergrad.

I wish everyone the luck that apparently has fallen on me.

You of the double A+ can start thinking that way, but I refuse to count my chickens. Still expecting a disappointing Torts grade.

Damn. Reading through here, I don't envy the uncertainty of when grades may come out and that grades are not released together. We got lucky at UT. This year they started releasing them all together on the 8th. We have plenty of time to contemplate jumping ship before that tuition bill is due.

Am I the only UT person who just received them today? i for sure thought I had failed law school

Yes, and I'm saying they're all liars.

There are tons of reasons beyond not caring not to check grades.

1) Avoid pressure of maintaining high grades
2) Avoid depression from low grades
3) Avoid an existential crisis from median grades
4) Keep your dreams alive
5) Leave something to check in the future

My grades do not come up for another week or two, so this is all hypothetical for me.

Nope, but I know someone else from my section got them today too and idk about them but I at least got solid grades...

As in absconding with them and selling them on Amazon? I'll provide a distraction in the library reading room - say a nervous breakdown where I lose control over all bodily functions. This should give you ample time to collect enough books to make it worthwhile.

We can use the first round of profit to purchase an id printer. Then, we take the show on the road. With over 200 ABA approved schools, we could make enough to retire in Mexico.

For Civ Pro, the Freer supplement was useful to supplement my understanding, but I didn't rely heavily on it.

One thing I can say that definitely helped me get good grades was use upperclassmen study materials to supplement yours (the ones who took that class with that professor and did well). I used upperclassmen stuff for K and Civ Pro and booked those; couldn't get any for property and didn't book that.

Did not rely on supplements, mostly just briefs + notes + upperclassmen outline/notes + practice problems + study group hypo discussions.
