Alright so suddenly the bearfacts financial aid didn't say there was "no information for 2015-2016" and I actually was able to see a bunch of information. It says gift aid is 0, so do we think that's the final word or that I may still get a scholarship and have it updated later?

I can access bearfacts now too and it only shows the amount I got in need-based aid. I think it'll probably update if we get merit $, and I doubt it means we aren't getting anything for sure.

Idk guys, I'm really worried. Looking at last year's thread, people who didn't get emails about scholarships saw them randomly listed on bearfacts (including matching) when it finally went live...has anyone who didn't receive an email regarding scholarships see anything on there other than what they had previously been notified of?

At the admitted students event, Kristin Theis-Alvarez said that we shouldn't panic if only loans are showing up initially covering the full COA. Apparently it will look like that if/until they update with merit and need-based aid.

Edit: Nevermind, I found the "My Net Cost" and "My Gift Aid" section... Yup, it's zero. Berkeley must be kidding themselves. So do I ask them to match Duke's award, or do I just show them my Harvard acceptance and gently suggest they're gonna need to buy me away?

My gift aid section shows a zero and I just got a scholarship via email. Could be they aren't updated right away!
