I got a very generous scholarship with a short deadline, so I imagine others must've as well. So perhaps once they confirm those who aren't accepting, more money will come out (waves).

I just read the entire post from last year, and if this year is anything like the last, the torture will continue until the end of April for some of us. Basically, some people weren't able to access their Finaid info until April 20th or so, others have been denied matching but offered regular scholarships, and yet others denied everything. So, we probably shouldn't expect a big wave with all the information. It will come piece by piece. No need to panic if you haven't gotten anything today.

I'm just confused because the need-based email that I got from them yesterday said that "starting tomorrow, your current financial aid offer will be available for your review at MyFinAid under Award Details", but I'm still getting the same message that "your financial aid package is not available blah blah blah".

I can't even get in to see my need aid. Is that normal?

Word of advice: if you have the ability to match, send it in now. My scholarship explicitly negates any matching possibilities.

I see they redesigned the MyFinAid website. Very.....minimalist. I like it. A bit hard to find what you're looking for, but hey.

Definitely send them the email or maybe give them a call. There was someone earlier in this thread who said they got an expedited matching decision because of a deadline.

Haven't tried e-mailing, but the person who answers the phone is nice. I called about two weeks ago. Maybe you should call them and while you are at it, maybe you can ask what is wrong with the Bearfacts on behalf of the forum?

I applied about a week before ASW, not sure of the exact date. Ugh, so unsure now. I know I want Cali biglaw, but would it be better to do Boalt at sticker, USC at full tuition, or a sizable scholarship from an East Coast T-14?

Pretty sure it just means no matching and you can still get a normal scholarship

It was over email. The financial aid office told me that although I was denied matching I am still being considered for non-matching scholarships (but I feel like it they didn't offer me anything via matching, aren't I pretty much screwed? ) Total bummer because I want to go to Boalt more than anything but I'm not sure I can make that choice at sticker.

It was over email. Did you submit a why Berkeley with your matching application? Also, did you submit a statement with your regular scholarship form?

I did submit a why Berkeley, but I didn't submit an additional scholarship essay because I thought all the prompts were covered in my application.

There is a deadline to accept the matching award - 4/15.
