Another good piece of info for those that want to be cool and have "law" in their email address... yeah Im one of those dorks! When you set up your email account it will be an @georgetown.edu address but it also sets up an alias @law.georgetown.edu address. So if you give someone the @law.georgetown.edu address it will go to your @georgetown.edu inbox.

I haven't figured out how to make the outgoing email address show up as @law.georgetown.edu when I send an email though. Hopefully someone knows how to do that.

I found emailing myself from my "@georgetown.edu" address pretty fun, I have to say... Of all the doodads I've gotten from schools this cycle, I think the email address is my favorite. As far as I know only GULC and HLS let you have an address prior to depositing.

Yes, I submitted my email to them on 2/4 and got a response 2/10.

Mine showed up as a pop up alert. Did you search credentials when you went to the admitted students website?

all i had to do was enter my lsac # and everything popped up... did it not prompt you to put in your lsac number? Anyway I'm sure it's not a big deal, probably just some glitch in their system

it prompted me to enter my lsac number but then it said I have an invalid email... I was accepted 12/1. Im surprised I wouldnt be in the first wave. Im far too impatient for this process....

Any idea when yesterday's "admits" will be able to access the Accepted Students website? What was the time frame for most of you already admitted? And how do they formally notify you, via snail mail?

What are you guys doing with spouses for ASW? I figure there's no reason for him to come on tours or stuff during the day, but maybe dinner? TBH I'm leaning towards just letting him explore DC on his own the whole time. But then again, free dinner...

I think you are good to go either way. There were many spouses (and parents) that accompanied their admitted student at January's open house. So if he wanted to come, he wouldn't stand out. He might be bored at some of the events though. My girlfriend chose to explore DC but did go to the Supreme Court Moot and loved it.

Seems to be a pretty quick turnaround - usually you have access to the admitted students website before you get the snail mail admissions letter. However, they are setting up everyone's NetID and GoCard accounts right now so their IT people might be a little slower than normal at giving access.

Eh, mine was a bit different. Got username / password sent to me about 2 days before being able to actually log in. After login, my letter came 4 days after that....so about a week total from getting the password stuff.
