less useful once you have a big boy job and you're supposed to remember the shit but I also have this ~talent~
also i'm kind of confident in my civ pro exam so #doomed i assume
Three days after the exam I'm at the point where I'm expecting a B on our B+ curve for civ pro
Might mess up Ks on monday even worse, or not, and get an A; there's really no way to tell given that we learned nothing in class and I have no evidence on how hard the rest of my section worked their way through their supplements

eh i feel like i did reasonably ok on civ pro such than a a- is not out of the realm of possibilities but it is having no effect on how convinced I am of this discretionary C+ in contracts

Just a reminder there is no rhyme or reason to grades. All is chaos. I knew the shit out of torts. B+. I know literally nothing about contracts except a couple contracty-sounding words (Offer! Consideration! Um, that's it!) and got an A. There is no justice, there is no God, there is only the interminable waiting (for grades and also death). Happy holidays!

Apparently the 'holy shit I have no idea how that went' feeling is normal, and the 'damn I crushed it' feeling probably means you're bottom third, so don't even worry.
This 100%

I think I was supposed to find this reassuring, but did not

Do your best to forget the tests after they're done. Worrying will only hurt you, and it's not like you can change shit now.

The best part about the forced 1L post-exam zen is when it shatters the 2 days before grades come out

Hello, civ pro.
But I can calculate - theoretically - the expected value of a settlement from either party's perspective, so I've got that going for me...

Hahaha the assassin match was entertaining even though it was such a steamroll, but that all-blitz game was absolutely NUTS.
My fav match of the day was the Froggen-Aphromoo 1v1 though

sooo... just took a look at the property model answers. They both seem to have 3k+ words for a 2 hour exam. How fucked am I if im barely getting 2.2k?

Remember, it's a model answer. So unless you are trying to get the top grade in the class your answer doesn't have to be as good.

My contracts professor tried to make people feel a little better by showing us his curve from the last two years. The highest A+ answer got like 90% of the points and the lowest B+ (median) answer was about 50%. I found that comforting when looking at really good answers.
When is everyone done for the semester? My last exam is on Tuesday.

He did the same thing for my class but the A+ was 207 out of 200. Was not appreciated.
If it makes you feel better, I think that was an outlier, since anything above 65% of the points on my curve was A- or above.
