Sometimes after I go away from this thread I come back and all I can think is, "what the hell happened here...?"

Ah dang they're gone now. Do you have a grainy screen cap of the username? Or maybe an old picture of their tar? I need some proof they exist.

What is the worst that can happen?
They begin HR proceedings to fire you?
That will take weeks
And if they do, go to HR and say you have a drinking problem and ask for rehab help -- that will reset their entire process and keep you there till you are able to return to civilization in a few weeks and breathe the free air of America
