What is the consensus approximation on the scholarships? End of this week or next week? I remember hearing dates like March 18th-20th from the fin aid people at the ASW.

That time frame sounds right to me, maybe they will wait until tomorrow so they have the weekend to avoid our frantic calls if we don't get one?

They specially indicated at ASW that only a small minority of the scholarships would go out this week. If you don't get one this week that doesn't mean much of anything.

I was at an admissions event the other day and the timeline I heard there was by the end of next week.

That was just a "you will definitely have it by this date" kind of deadline, so there's still a shot it'll be earlier!

ETA: just got an email from admissions with "Scholarship" in the title and my heart stopped; nope, just an invite to apply for the SF Bar's scholarship.

Thanks for clarifying. I keep getting emails about minority scholarships, and I a non-white non-URM. So I just wanted to know if they send those to everyone.

To be fair, the criteria for this scholarship is underrepresented at "norcal schools." Though, I'm not sure how different that is from the general notion of URM in law school. Probably not much different.

I'm a non-URM minority, to clarify. I'm not sure if I qualify for the scholarship, since I don't get the boost generally, but I emailed to find out. I'll update you guys when I hear back!

Please do! Thanks a lot! The fact that some people on this forum didn't get the email means it wasn't a mass blast. There must be some logic behind who they sent it too. Also, there was another email with a minority scholarship sent last week. It said "Berkekey admissions requested that we send you this information." It sounded like a targeted email.

Did anyone non-urm white on this forum receive either email? Would be super helpful to know.
