First TLS Post!

I was admitted last week and completed the scholarship app on Monday. For whatever reason, I got excited when everybody started posting the offers, which was dumb. I'm in no-man's land most likely in terms of timing.

Got mine and called to confirm the number mix-up (I did not believe they were being so generous with me). Really blown away by their offer; definitely attending.

Also received a scholarship today...pretty excited as I'm on the low end for NU in terms of numbers and wasn't sure if I'd get anything!

I wouldn't expect an email confirming the nothing, but I also don't think no email today = no love. They'll keep sending out offers on a rolling basis.

Way way way more than I expected, almost triple what Michigan offered. Almost 100% chance I'll be attending in the fall

Also in the boat of no news yesterday, accepted around Feb 22 and all scholly paperwork submitted a few days before the March 1 deadline. I've heard of people getting 15k a year and 55k a year, so doesn't look like was just big or small offers yesterday. I wonder what the rationale was for those who heard yesterday and realize I'll never know.

Just hope those already accepted who didn't hear still have hope...

I'm casting about for a plausible rationale for distributing many but not all to the pre-March 1 crowd, and can't find one. They had 28 days to review the whole pack and they didn't release in dribbles. I'm thinking we're done here. Then again, Eyore is my spirit animal, and my PS was a picaresque of my many lost hopes and disillusionment. Maybe rethink that if I try again.

If anyone gets verification either way on Monday, post up. I will too.

I didnt get notification but did get an email saying they didn't have my need access form. I have a whole "payment successful" listing northwestern from need access so don't know what the hold up is. I guess I'll have to call Need Access on Monday, but anyone else have this issue?
