Anyone else get the Terrace housing email but can't log in to register for some reason?

I think you might have to commit to usc before being able to log in, unsure though, but it would make sense so they dont give spots to people who arent actually set on attending.

Hey everyone. I am booked for Law Day. I will be flying in from Orlando on Thursday, and leaving after the football game on Saturday. Does anyone have plans for going out the couple nights we are there? Never been to L.A. and would love to get the lay of the land.

No but it looks like right now it's going to wind up being between USC/UCLA unless I by some miracle I get into Stanford. I'm waiting to see the campuses and where the scholly negotiations wind up. So weird how they're such fierce rivals but most students were probably trying to decide between the two at some point.

I definitely plan on going out. A friend from undgrad who is letting me crash basically told me I should be ready for late nights and possible hangovers as a prerequisite for the rights to a couch.

If you do get off the WL, would it change your decision? Seems like you're very pro USC.

Also that most should probably be some since TLSers are not a fully representative group.

To tell the truth, I'm not sure how it would change my decision, whether it will sway me or not. I don't know very much about UCLA. But I don't even want to think about that now..I don't want to get my hopes up for disappointment.

I hope I get a clear feeling on which one is best when I get out there! I'm terrified of it being a complete tie and having no real idea what to do.

True but this seems like one of those decisions if I feel like I have no clear answer I'll never make up my mind! USC does win huge points for getting back to me in 12 days though and being the first to send $$$. Everyone else seems like snails compared to them. Except for those TTT schools, like Rutgers who I never applied to or expressed interest in just sent me an acceptance letter with scholarship money and a code to pay for the CAS report since I still haven't applied. Or Hofstra who sent me an email about taking a class on pot, they win for joke of the year.

Did you want to practice in CA?

My UG is in entertainment management and LA is awesome for those jobs, anywhere else is kind of pointless other than Nashville (I hate country music) or NYC (which I love but would do my best to avoid ever living there).

That being said I'm definitely trying to study abroad in Australia, which both USC and UCLA offer. I may go and never come back haha.

And I have to say, an awesome choice in UG degree there, haha LA is a great spot to end up if you wanted to do ent. law.
I've'en reminding myself not to visit Australia/New Zealand, because like you said if I visit, I may not end up back here again. It will be a one way ticket for sure haha.

Yes, luckily they are on the same weekend. I take a redeye out after the UCLA event, hope that wasn't a mistake though, thinking maybe I should have stayed an extra day to see UCLA when class is actually in session, but my guess is the campus is too busy during that time for people to visit.

I don't see any videos posted but the events say "videotaping" next to them...which I assume means that they will become available at some point?

Anyone with a scholly do the acceptance form yet? There's an option to reserve scholly but not be sure what school. Wondering if I should just check that box now so I don't stupidly forget to do it later.
