Look I'm all for equal rights but can't we just let the people with SCIENTIFICALLY bigger brains decide what's just and fair and equal? Men are inherently better lawyers because women's periods confuse their senses of JUSTICE. Plus I hear they attract bears

??? This literally sounds like a high school examGray wrote:so my exam has quotes from opinions. The question is like (a) what case is this from (b) what was it about (c) what was its influence and there were four of those and the time allocated was 45 minutes out of the 3 hours. The model answers are like a page for each quote.
I guess if you just like prepare for that in your outline it will be okay maybe but that wasn't in other past exams so who knows. F minus for gray probably.

Re: You Can't Spell Lunatic Without 1L
Many years ago, when I was in my first class for my masters program, the professor spent some time talking about the requirements for the course, and it was obvious that several of us were pondering what the hell we had gotten ourselves into. The professor took this opportunity to tell us that "No one in the class is going to get an F", this seemed to catch nearly everyone's attention, lightening the mood considerably. . .Gray wrote:F minus for gray probably.
Then the professor followed up with, "here at [school X], failing grades are E's"

Just want to pass on a tip: I got one of the top grades in contracts almost completely from studying the exams, and mostly the model answers, on berkeley's exam database. it was insanely helpful, more so than anything I got my hands on throughout law school.

Pre-1L exam mentality. Not saying you can't feel this way after taking a MC law school exam, just that you're likely to change your tune.

I just don't get how it can be worse than a traditional type-until-your-hands-bleed issue-spotter.BVest wrote:Hikkomorist wrote:I wish more of my exams had an MC component.

Re: You Can't Spell Lunatic Without 1L
You will when you get a MC exam and all the answers seem equally right/wrong, and you can't say "b but..." or "c if..."
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
