Use that to your advantage. Seems like the perfect time to insist on working from home. Wouldn't want to have an unfortunate "incident" in the office later this week, now would we?Gray wrote:Ughh guys. Houston is wildly different than Dallas. It floods to some extent every other week it seems like but it's usually not a big deal.WhiskeyAndCupcakes wrote:Almost never. We're usually low on rain. It's the wettest spring in decades.IsThisForReal wrote:How often does this happen?
I haven't lived here long enough to know for sure but according to my coworkers there's a bad one like this every 3-5 years.

We get some very localized flooding whenever there's a hard rain, but it's usually not like this unless there's a hurricane/tropical storm.IsThisForReal wrote:How often does this happen?

So my coworkers found a way to play pokemon online. I might feel like I'm back in elementary school, but it's made my job so much better

Unless she's camped out right on the bayou in Houston, I'd be shocked if she didn't make it out today. The highways are already clear.xylocarp wrote:My mom is in Texas right now and couldn't fly home yesterday. Texas people, will she make it out today?

Gray I am listening to hit the road and I can't picture you with this as your theme song. It fits that botch Karen but not you
Woah Woman, oh woman, don't treat me so mean,
You're the meanest old woman that I've ever seen.
I guess if you said so
I'd have to pack my things and go.
