Good thing about being the only one in the office: can just walk right the heck out. (although where I work leaving at 3:50 is less a bold statement and more beating the rush)

at least they're letting me out an hour early today because of the upcoming holiday but still 2.5 hrs to goGray wrote:Fridayyy why aren't you overrrrr
after that only 48 days in the office left, which is less than 50, which seems like a milestone, although it's still 48 days too many

ONE HOUR UNTIL HAPPY HOUR
Your friendly neighborhood Toucan would like to remind you that driving under the influence is a crime in 48.5 states!
(Wisconsin only gets 0.5 because they consider a first offense a "municipal offense," which apparently is not a crime. And of course New Jersey continues its proud tradition of letting all kinds of shit slide by treating DUIs as traffic violations. #fuggedaboutit)

we had a staff meeting yesterday in which they announced they're gonna raise our contribution to our shitty health care plan because ohhh it's all so expensive and we don't have the money
meanwhile I've been reading up on the tax filings (which are public b/c 501c3) and know that this organization's assets have been growing by 5-10% for 10 yrs straight
happy friday

My friends, and I call you my friends because some of you are in schools I am wait listed at and if you happen to fall under a bus and I am nearby I want a good alibi
My friends today I did the unthinkable. After three years of love, compassion, caring and many nights of intense heat I broke down and cleaned my grill. Our time together with all that built of FLAVOR can be measured in years and meat not just by pound but my tons. After all 0.125 tons is still a measurement in tons. I hope it can forgive me and that Weber does not revoke my 2010 master grilled 1st place trophy. I worked long and hard for that award. Weeks spent finding someone who would forge it for me with my name in it. But I still display it with pride and show it my phone when near other proe grilling. But that shows how much I love my grill. I hope it forgives me.

Why did she want me to stay high school educated, unemployed and living in my parents house without a girlfriend??
Maybe that's why I hate her....
