Thinking my end date is going to have to come wayyyyyy up. I'm suddenly being unnecessarily micromanaged on a whole new level.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm seriously about to. But if I go, I want it to be with a bang. Any ideas?

Watch Office Space or Jerry McGuire and reenact your favorite scene.

Taking tomorrow off. Then Memorial Day. Then two more days in the office, and I'm quitting my grown-up office job to go work at summer camp.

I'll think of y'all when I'm sitting by the pool.

Well... about 20% of crude still ends up as gasoline, which is still about twice as much as the runner up (diesel/heating oil). In the US the proportion of petroleum used for transport is about two thirds, which is obviously crazy high.

So hit those pumps.

Left the building yelling the same. It was pretty solid.
At your company they send a company wide email when someone gets let go? Wow...

We don't get an email. If they sent emails every time someone got let go in a year like this there would be mass panic. There are just more and more empty desks every couple of weeks. :(

Good time to go to law school.

Six years of my life wasted in this terrible excuse for a law firm. I need it to be something epic if i'm really going to walk out. Something I can capture on video and go viral for.

If you film it, it will go viral...trust me.

The Jerry McGuire route might be fun. Maybe we should all secretly record our awkward I'm-going-to-law-school-therefore-fuck-off conversations and post them on a new thread. If I get the chance, I will.

That might require an addendum to your C&F, and is not advised ....just saying

Normally at my (now former) job people would send out a goodbye email on their last day to whoever they worked with. Just the usual "here's where I'm going, here's my contact info," etc. But then, an audit associate sent out this masterpiece. That was a fun day. My coworkers and I still periodically IM each other "QUEEN BEY ALL DAY!" So then HR had to preapprove all goodbye emails for a while

Funny underneath all the crazy it sounds like she has a lot of problems with auditing that associates have with lawyering.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
