I will add that the girl I was ignoring was less a Karen, and more a Leslie Knope. However, the only person in the building that I'm afraid of is a Karen.

How long does it take after contracting food poisoning for your organs to stop hurting?

Years later if I ordered them, he could get sick from the smell. I think something are so psychosomatic that our genetic nature traits kick in to keep us free doing that again

Shipmate how did you think brass fire nozzles got cleaned? We put hot water in a metal pitcher, a packet of big juice from the galley and drop in the nozzle. That nasty stuff sailors drink all day long eats away rust, grease and grimeusn26 wrote:I have not experienced that lolstorpappa wrote:You never drank big juice then used it to clean metal?usn26 wrote:Why am I excluded from this?storpappa wrote:I have 6 packets of Kool Aid grape mix

Haha, well that's news to me. Only metal I ever had to polish in my short naval career was Master Guns' "USMC" plate. We didn't use juicestorpappa wrote:Shipmate how did you think brass fire nozzles got cleaned? We put hot water in a metal pitcher, a packet of big juice from the galley and drop in the nozzle. Re: Senioritis / Quitting-my-job-soon-iorits
So thanks to everyone's support regarding informing my boss about my upcoming departure, I sent out an email to my executive advisor (who I like and is less needy than my immediate supervisor) about setting up a meeting Friday to inform him of my plans and strategize how to tell my immediate supervisor (who I don't like and who my coworkers and I have decided will either Break down crying or throwing things when she finds out two of us are leaving simultaneously).
After sending him this email, he walks over and in front of my immediate boss says, "hey, what did you want to talk about Friday?" I fumbled around like an idiot and just said, "oh ya know....work." And then he kept prying, until I said, "look, can we just talk Friday?"
UGHHHH. GET ME OUT IF HERE. What happens if I just stop showing up? Is that a feasible option?

Also sounds like fraud, but hey!
One time in the future I want to try to use chicken-broth for my ramen instead of water.
