haha I definitely didn't convey enough excitement in my post. I was set to resign on Monday but on Sunday night I was hit with devastating food poisoning that is still with me...have eaten like 2 bannanas in the last 4 days and I feel like a walking zombie.

Probably should go to the beach (live in DC) but pretty lazy. Plus I'm too cheap to rent a hotel and don't want to drink and drive for a one-day visit.

But the Nats are in town Fri-Sun, so probably a ball game. And taking my non-golfing S/O golfing for the first time.

Wait, how far is DC from the beach?

I forgot it's a thing to live near beaches because I never have.

The non-Chesapeake Bay beaches are about 2 hours. The good beaches (Atlantic City/Ocean City) are 3-4 hours. I should hit the road at 8am and have plenty of time for a full day. But like I said, laziness. It's easier to make brunch for myself and play video games and say, oh shit, another wasted holiday.
